2.2. Back Panel

 

This section describes connectors and controls located on the PollCat-ILB Back Panel. For a description of each port interface, please refer to Section 5.

C PBX PORT: For connection to your PBX System's SMDR port or to the RS-232 data output port on other equipment. (DTE Interface). 
e COMPUTER PORT: For connection to your PC, polling device, or external modem. 
® SPEED SELECT: A bank of eight DIP Switches used to select baud rates and parity for the Computer Port and PBX Port. Also used to enable/disable the Single Line Release Function and Modem Mode. 
� DEFAULT Button: The Default Button performs two separate functions: 
  Clear Memory: Clears all data from internal memory as described in Section 4.1.
