4.2. Test Memory

 

1                     Turn off AC power to the PollCat ILB.

2                     Press and hold the Default Button, turn on power to the unit. Continue to hold the Default Button for at least three seconds.

3                     When the "80% Full" and "Full" LEDs light, release the Default Button. The LEDs will blink in sequence, indicating the Memory Test is in progress. The test will require approximately 10 seconds for each one Meg of memory.

 

a) Memory OK: If memory is functioning properly, the "80% Full" and "Full" LEDs will blink twice.

b) Memory Failure: If a memory failure is detected, the "80% Full" and "Full" LEDs will continue to blink rapidly until the Default Button is pressed.

c) Abort Test: The Memory Test and error sequence can be aborted at any time by pressing the Default Button.

Note:

When the Memory Test is performed, all data will be cleared from internal memory.
