4.4.3. DTR Flow Control


If the DTR line (pin 20) is dropped during data release, output will pause and will not resume until the DTR line is raised and an XON is received. This provides an appropriate delay to allow time for the polling device to boot-up, enter the polling program, and send an XON in order to continue data release.
