4.5. Auto-Erase Function


In order to make room for new data, call records and data will be automatically erased as they are released to the polling device.

Note that as data is received, it is compressed and stored in units called "internal blocks". Each block contains an average of 10 records or more, depending on the nature of the data. If a power failure prevents an individual block from being completely released, that block will not be erased. When power is restored and data release is resumed, the records in the interrupted block will be re-released.
